Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting & External Financial Reporting Manager to lead quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and rigorous disclosure reviews.

This role will coordinate Workiva and XBRL processes, support SOX 404 controls, and partner with Legal, IR, FP&A and Audit. You will manage cross‑functional reporting streams, drive process improvements, and mentor staff in a fast‑paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Typically 6+ years in accounting and public company SEC reporting experience; CPA preferred.
• Experience with Form 10-Q/10-K, Workiva, and XBRL/Inline XBRL is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10‑Q/10‑K and related disclosures.
• Oversee SEC reporting calendar, timelines, and cross‑functional inputs.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, schedules, and disclosures for GAAP compliance.
• Manage tie‑outs, ensure consistency across filings and source documents.
• Partner with Legal, IR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Audit to coordinate disclosures.
• Administer Workiva, tagging, and data linking; coordinate XBRL processes.
• Lead stock‑based compensation disclosures and ASC718 related analyses.
• Support SOX 404 controls and external audit activities.
