Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Business Development Manager for sealing solutions based in Houston, TX. You will drive new business growth across automotive, industrial, oil & gas, aerospace, and related markets, developing strong relationships with distributors and strategic customers.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to tailor application-specific sealing solutions, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts that close new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of business development or technical sales experience within manufacturing.
• Experience selling seals, rubber, elastomers, plastics, or related industrial components.
• Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles and channel/distribution models.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts and grow revenue.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across automotive, industrial, oil & gas, aerospace, and related markets
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through contract
• Develop relationships with distributors, channel partners, and strategic industrial customers
• Understand customer applications and recommend the right sealing solutions
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on custom solutions
• Develop proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close new business
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
