Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Scientific Director, Medical Communications to lead scientific content strategy across client accounts. The role combines leadership with hands-on scientific oversight, ensuring evidence-based, rigorous deliverables aligned with brand and business goals.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional leads, shape programs, translate complex data into compelling communications, and contribute to proposals and client engagements.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MD or equivalent required.
• Extensive medical writing/reviewing and scientific content development experience.
• Medical communications agency experience (5–7+ years).
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, EndNote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction for scientific content across accounts and ensure alignment with client objectives and medical priorities.
• Provide senior-level oversight for quality, accuracy, and consistency of deliverables.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff and support professional development.
• Direct cross-functional teams toward strong execution and integration of scientific, clinical, and market insights.
• Lead scientific discussions with clients and key opinion leaders and manage proposal development.
