Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Scientific Director to lead its medical communications content, ensuring evidence-based, high-quality output that aligns with client strategy. The SD will mentor writers, review materials, and collaborate with authors and clients to translate science into clinical benefit.

The role reports to the VP – Content Development and requires extensive medical writing experience, agency background, and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced life sciences degree required (MD/PhD/PharmD).
• Extensive medical writing experience.
• 2–3+ years in a communications/agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific content development ensuring evidence-based, high editorial quality.
• Mentor and manage Medical Writers; review and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with clients and authors to translate strategy into compelling programs.
• Oversee regulatory review processes and ensure timelines are met.
• Develop and nurture new client opportunities in the medical field.
