Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Scientific Director to lead scientific strategy and quality for medical communications programs. The role ensures evidence-based content, high editorial quality, and alignment with client objectives while mentoring a team of writers and coordinating with senior stakeholders.

The SD will stay current with therapeutic area science, manage timelines, oversee advisory boards, and contribute to business development efforts across client programs. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced life sciences degree required (MD, PhD, or PharmD).
• Extensive medical writing experience.
• Communication agency experience (2–3 years minimum).

Responsibilities

• Writes, reviews, and directs content development to meet objectives and standards.
• Mentors Medical Writers and Editors and coordinates with authors and clients.
• Oversees regulatory review processes and ensures accuracy across projects.
