Job summary

Alpha Charter of Excellence is seeking a dynamic Principal/Management professional to lead and oversee the school, directing vision, curriculum implementation, and instructional quality. You will use student achievement and school performance data to drive decisions and lead the School Improvement Plan.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring a safe climate, managing operations and budgets, and engaging families and the community while ensuring compliance with Florida standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher is required.
• Florida Educational Leadership Certification or appropriate administrative certification covering Educational Leadership, Administration, or Administration and Supervision for school principal.
• Completion of the Educational Leadership Requirement.
• Successful completion of the Florida Educational Leadership Examination (FELE).

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional programs and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Monitor student achievement, attendance, behavior and intervention programs.
• Supervise, evaluate and develop instructional and non-instructional staff.
• Maintain a safe, secure and positive school climate.
• Manage school operations, facilities, budgets and resources.
• Build strong relationships with families, governing board and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FDOE, MDCPS, and applicable programs.
