Job summary

Lev HaTorah Academy of Baltimore is seeking an Operations Manager to build and lead the non-instructional operations for a 12-month school year, serving Preschool through Middle School in separate boy's and girl's divisions. The role reports to the Head of School and may substitute for the Head of School as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with business/finance focus.
• Minimum five years in executive or senior leadership roles.
• Experience in HR, finance, fundraising, data management, and facilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, grants, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school communications, fundraising, finance, and daily operations.
• Lead a staff of ~25 and support students and families.
• Liaise with landlord for maintenance and facility needs.
• Monitor campus safety, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage operating budget with fiscal responsibility and accuracy.
• Handle educational grants from application to reporting and distribution.
• Represent the Head of School at meetings and with partners.
• Support HR functions including hiring, onboarding, and policy development.
• Coordinate curriculum ordering, scheduling, events, and donor relations.
