Job summary

HPM is seeking a Schedule Manager to lead analysis and control of construction schedules for large capital programs in the United States. The role involves developing master programs, delay analysis, and reporting schedule status and risks to project teams and clients.

The candidate will work with project management and project controls to plan long-term support, drive schedule data analytics, and validate progress against baselines. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of project management or control solutions experience on major projects and programs.
• Experience with Procore or other project management information systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development is preferred.
• Experience working with SmartPM.
• Proficient in CPM Scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience working in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset.
• Ability to be flexible/adaptable in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish schedule management program and deliverables for large capital projects and programs.
• Support owner schedule management including setup, detailed analysis, and reporting.
• Develop master program schedules using current data on lead times.
• Assist in project planning with schedule scenarios and comparisons.
• Impose scheduling best practices into contract documents.
• Conduct technical analysis of schedules to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Perform earned value analysis for progress monitoring and forecasting.
• Identify metrics to measure progress and schedule performance.
• Support cash flow projections if required.
• Provide robust data analytics and reporting including cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.
• Develop project control and execution plans.
• Supervise schedule control efforts and report monthly Schedule/Change metrics.
