Job summary

K&A Power Group in Binghamton, NY seeks a Scheduler & Cost Controller to lead project scheduling, cost control, and EVM across energy projects.

You will produce regular and ad-hoc reports, ensure costs are properly coded and budgeted, and develop master schedules and look-ahead plans using SAP, Primavera and MS Project. CAPM/PMI-SP certification is preferred.

This role requires collaboration with multiple departments and provides growth opportunities within a growing, people-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent (requires Avangrid approval)
• SAP experience required
• Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives.
• Verify accuracy of all cost information and proper coding/allocation to project budget.
• Develop Integrated Master Schedule and Six-month Look-Ahead increments.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis and forecast delays with alternative scenarios.
• Provide guidance on scheduling practices and coordinate with Project Managers.
