Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior project controls professional to lead scheduling, cost forecasting, and earned value management on major programs in the United States. The role requires interaction with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients on complex, multi-site initiatives.

You will develop and maintain integrated master schedules, analyze variances, and provide timely client/status reporting while mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to PMIS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Travel may be domestic or international depending on duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
• Gathers progress data from project teams to monitor moderate-to-high complexity projects.
• Updates schedule data, resource requirements, and subcontractor commitments.
• Develops time-phased cost and resource forecasts; validates costs.
• Performs Earned Value Management and performance reporting.
• Communicates cost status and trends to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
