Job summary

A consulting and engineering firm in Rochester, New York, is seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler & Cost Controller. The role involves managing project costs and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in project controlling and proficiency in scheduling tools like SAP and Primavera. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent (requires Avangrid approval).
• SAP experience required.
• Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required.
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG.

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives.
• Verify the accuracy of all cost information and monitor deviations.
• Develop an Integrated Master Schedule of the project according to customer standards.
• Prepare project sequences/logic to identify interrelationships among disciplines.
• Perform Current Schedule and Cost (EV, AC) vs. PMB comparisons.
• Coordinate with the Scheduler-Cost Controller Group to meet portfolio planning goals.
• Ensure costs are accurately tracked, coded, and reported.
