K&A Power Group in Augusta, Maine, seeks a Scheduler & Cost Controller to join our team. You will produce project cost and schedule reports, verify cost allocations, and support planning and control activities across multiple functions.

The role emphasizes EVM across project stages, integrated master scheduling, and look-ahead planning, with opportunities for professional growth in a privately held engineering firm serving utilities and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Project Controlling and 4+ years in Construction Project Scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate (requires Avangrid approval).
• SAP experience required.
• Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required.
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for project planning and control.
• Verify cost data accuracy and proper coding to budgets.
• Develop an Integrated Master Schedule per Customer standards.
• Analyze critical path and progress curves; monitor EVM.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other functions.
• Provide guidance on scheduling practices to the team.
