Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Staff Project Controls Specialist in Dallas, TX to lead project controls with the PM team and ensure deliverables are on budget and on schedule. The role involves WBS creation, schedule development, cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, and auditing controls.

Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with 3 years of project controls experience; Primavera P6 experience is preferred and OSHA 10-hour certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field is required.
• 3 years of direct project controls experience required; equivalent experience may substitute the degree.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred; strong command of reporting and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls processes with PM team to meet budget and schedule.
• Create and manage WBS, scheduling, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
• Approve POs and subcontracts with proper coding; document changes to cost reports and forecasts.
• Develop, review, and analyze scheduling reports and earned value management; monitor critical path.
