Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Houston is seeking a Project Controls professional to ensure project set-up and maintain effective scheduling and cost reports. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, along with 3 years of related experience. Key responsibilities include analyzing data, reviewing logs, developing scheduling reports, and monitoring project costs. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6. Full-time schedule with some travel required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of direct project controls experience.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
• Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project set-up in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
• Develop and maintain effective scheduling reports and cost reports.
• Approve Purchase Orders and/or Subcontracts for proper coding.
• Perform schedule what-if scenarios.
• Create various schedule reports and determine appropriate reporting format.
