Job summary

MiTek is seeking a Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage work orders across assigned work centers, ensuring material readiness and sequencing to meet production schedules. You will work closely with production supervisors to optimize shop floor execution and meet customer demands, releasing and tracking orders in SAP based on MRP.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree, 2+ years in scheduling, and SAP S/4HANA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; equivalent experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• 2+ years in production scheduling, planning, or production control.
• CPIM and/or lean manufacturing experience or exposure is a plus.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly across functions and interpret production-related documents.
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA ERP/MRP system and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and manage work orders to meet production schedules.
• Release, track, and close work orders in SAP based on MRP and demand.
• Monitor performance against schedule adherence, OTIF, and inventory accuracy.
• Balance capacity across work centers and escalate risks to commitments.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams for material availability.
• Provide real-time scheduling support to production supervisors.
• Maintain ERP data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on status and issues.
