Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, manage material availability, and ensure on-time customer orders that align with ERP/MRP data.

The role requires on-site work, collaboration across manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics, and the ability to adapt to changing capacity and lead times.

Candidates typically have an Associate’s degree or 1–4 years in production planning or supply chain, with strong MS Excel and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 1–4 years related experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills; proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Ability to analyze production data and make recommendations to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules using ERP/MRP data.
• Schedule customer orders based on capacity, materials, lead times, and requirements.
• Coordinate production priorities to support on-time delivery and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Communicate daily with manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, quality, and shipping teams.
• Identify and resolve shortages and scheduling conflicts impacting deliveries.
• Participate in cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and year-end processes.
• Generate reports on production schedules, inventory, orders, and performance metrics.
