Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a Procurement Buyer II to drive purchasing activities, optimize costs, and ensure procurement aligns with program goals in Urbana, IL. You will manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor performance against metrics to support cost-effective, timely deliveries.

You will collaborate with engineering, program management, and finance to implement sourcing strategies, leverage SAP and analytics, and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the purchasing process, ensuring purchases are made efficiently and per guidelines.
• Foster and maintain supplier relationships, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.
• Contribute to quality control standards in purchasing processes, conducting inspections and performance assessments.
• Support management of the procurement budget, allocate resources efficiently, and seek cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in implementing sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for supplier diversity, sustainability, and innovation.
• Leverage procurement software and analytics to enhance purchasing processes, monitoring, and reporting.
