Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, planning and/or supply chain with emphasis on supplier management and process adherence.
• Negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier contracts effectively.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools to manage purchasing activities and data analysis.
• Understanding of cost control measures and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the purchasing process from identifying procurement needs to supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management in accordance with guidelines.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and support negotiation terms for cost-effective, high-quality purchases.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, address concerns, resolve issues, and collaborate on improvements for a reliable supply chain.
• Ensure purchasing activities adhere to regulations, standards, and internal policies, with accurate records.
• Contribute to quality control standards in purchasing processes through inspections and performance assessments.
• Support procurement budget management, allocate resources efficiently, and seek cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in sourcing strategies, identifying opportunities for supplier diversity, sustainability, and innovation.
• Leverage procurement software and analytics to enhance purchasing processes, monitoring and reporting.
• Other relevant responsibilities as assigned by management.
