Job summary

Berco Building Materials is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee Inside/Outside Sales and Sales Support, driving revenue growth and exceptional service for contractors, homeowners, and vendors.

You will lead a team, set quotas, review performance, and collaborate with purchasing, dispatch, and yard operations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader with strategic insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials or related industry.
• Minimum 3 years of sales management experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to drive performance.
• Oversee day-to-day sales activities, targets, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to grow new business and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with Sales Support to ensure seamless order processing and customer service.
• Review forecasts and data to identify growth opportunities.
• Set territory assignments, quotas, and performance expectations.
• Lead coaching and performance evaluations.
• Participate in key customer meetings and trade events.
