United Future in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sales Manager for Industrial & Automation to lead growth in strategic markets. You will drive new business, nurture relationships from engineers to executives, and manage key accounts with a strong emphasis on cold calling and long-term planning.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial automation sales, a engineering degree (BSEE preferred), and willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S. Relocation support and competitive compensation are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; BSEE strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years selling industrial automation components.
• Direct calling sales experience preferred over go-through sales reps.

Responsabilités

• Identify and engage new top-tier customer segments and establish relationships at commercial and engineering levels.
• Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, from daily operations to executive discussions; penetrate top-tier prospects, with 50% time on cold calling.
• Maintain knowledge of customer roadmaps to uncover future opportunities.
• Partner with product management to promote new automation technologies and applications.
• Secure sales revenue growth (minimum 5% YoY) and develop new opportunities in target industries.
• Ensure on-time delivery of solutions while meeting business objectives; provide accurate forecasts and CRM reporting.
