Wenger Corporation in Salt Lake City invites a Sales Estimator to join the team and help deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and documentation for assigned sales regions. You will collaborate with Sales and other departments to confirm project scope and align estimates with pricing goals.

You'll review bid documents, solicit drawings and cost data, prepare 20/20 drawings, and update estimates as projects evolve. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and customer-centric support.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years' relevant work experience.
• Ability to learn products / product application.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.

Aufgaben

• Provides estimating support for contract and direct business within assigned sales regions.
• Reviews customer bid documents and contracts to verify project requirements and scope of work.
• Identifies and clarifies missing information, conflicting requirements, and scope discrepancies with sales and appropriate departments before finalizing quotes or orders.
• Coordinates with other departments to obtain drawings, cost estimates, and information needed to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
• Provides technical information and prepares proposals to support projects in development.
• Prepares project quotes and creates 20/20 drawings to reflect project requirements, following sales strategy and pricing direction provided by the sales team.
• Updates estimates and proposals to reflect changes in project scope, specifications, or pricing direction, and documents revisions and their impact.
• Coordinates estimating priorities and communicates quote status, outstanding information needs, and potential delays to support bid and customer deadlines.
• Writes orders for assigned sales regions, ensuring alignment with approved quotes and documented project requirements.
• Maintains complete and accurate estimating records, including supporting calculations, drawings, assumptions, exclusions, and quote revisions, to support order processing and project handoff.
