Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to drive quote-to-delivery for assigned customer opportunities. You will translate customer, dealer, OEM, fleet, and vocational requirements into accurate commercial proposals while coordinating with sales leadership, regional managers, engineering, purchasing, production, and operations.

The Sr. Sales Engineer may support customer communication and relationship management, but the primary purpose is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
Five or more years in inside sales, customer service, account management, sales support, or related fields.
Experience with commercial vehicles, truck equipment, or vocational applications preferred.
Ability to translate customer requirements into accurate quotations and manage details through quote and order execution.
Strong communication with customers, OEM contacts, dealers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Own the quote-to-delivery process for assigned opportunities from initial request through quotation and order handoff.
Develop accurate, complete quotations by gathering customer requirements and coordinating internal inputs.
Maintain opportunity details, quotes, and follow-up actions in ERP/CRM systems.
Support forecast visibility, pipeline accuracy, and quote conversion with timely information.
Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, production, and operations to ensure feasibility and readiness.
