Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Sr. Sales Engineer to lead quote-to-delivery for assigned opportunities.

You will translate customer requirements into executable commercial proposals and coordinate with sales leadership, engineering, purchasing, production, and operations. The role emphasizes disciplined follow-up, technical learning, and customer responsiveness to ensure properly scoped, priced, documented, and executable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or related fields.
• Experience with commercial vehicles, truck equipment, vocational applications, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop accurate quotations through coordination of internal inputs.
• Strong communication skills for frequent conversations with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution process from initial request through quotation and delivery support.
• Develop accurate quotations by gathering requirements, confirming scope, and coordinating inputs.
• Maintain opportunity details and follow-up actions in approved systems.
• Support forecast visibility and pipeline accuracy through timely opportunity data.
