About your new role:

As a Strategic Sales Development Representative at CommandLink, you’ll play a key role in driving pipeline growth and expanding market presence. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, you’ll build strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that align with our growth objectives.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations to refine strategies, leverage market intelligence, and drive targeted engagement that fuels revenue growth. Your insights will shape industry-focused sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring maximum customer and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to build a strong pipeline.
  • Identify and map opportunities across key verticals, leveraging market intelligence and competitive insights.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, understanding their technical and business needs to position CommandLink solutions effectively.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies and drive engagement.
  • Qualify and coordinate high-value sales meetings, ensuring a compelling presentation of CommandLink’s value proposition.
  • Foster internal collaboration to drive new business growth and expand customer relationships.
  • Deliver quarterly reports and presentations to leadership, tracking progress and pipeline performance.

What you'll need for success:

  • Proven success in sales development, building and managing relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers across industries.
  • Experience in account planning, including mapping hierarchies and deploying account-based marketing and consultative sales strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present effectively at executive levels and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
  • 2+ years of experience in Business/Sales Development, with a track record of driving pipeline growth and executing complex business development processes.
  • Ability to identify key business and technology growth areas and align strategies with company objectives.
  • Comfortable working in matrix environments and with geographically distributed teams.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, able to operate as both an individual contributor and a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging between $55,000 to $70,000 plus commission, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $85,000+.
