Job summary

Plazahotelelpaso is seeking a Sales and Catering Coordinator to support the property sales and catering team with administrative duties and facilitate timely, accurate service for internal departments and external customers.

The role involves answering calls, processing proposals and contracts, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring seamless event delivery and guest satisfaction. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
• Previous hotel sales or catering experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly and relay account information to managers and departments.
• Type and process correspondence, proposals, banquet event orders and contracts as directed by management.
• Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests, amenities and other communications to relevant departments.
• Act as liaison between Sales/Catering Directors and Managers and other departments for upcoming events.
• Communicate with clients professionally and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain and organize contracts and correspondence; ensure records are up to date.
• Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.

Education
