At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. We’re an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission: automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We aren’t another out-of-touch tech startup; most of our team comes from construction.

We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now, we are deploying workflows/agents, starting with a Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams’ workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team to deploy several more agents this year. You will have the opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks, and inefficiencies.

Overview
  • We’re looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join the Trunk Tools Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying an understanding of Trunk Tools products, sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base while selling to strategic enterprise accounts. The primary focus is on new account acquisition and growing revenue through new product sales to new and existing customers. This includes following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, and closing.

What you will do and achieve

  • Follow up promptly and qualify new prospects from inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing.
  • Develop prospecting plans for territory development to build rapport and create opportunities.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and gather business requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts.
  • Provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested.
  • Increase knowledge of key competitors to effectively communicate our value proposition to customers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within HubSpot.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Obtain repeat business, referrals, and references by understanding the unique requirements of your customers.
  • Engage in networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience as a top-performing outbound Account Executive.
  • Previous experience selling into the Construction ENR 100.
  • Experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Strong prospecting, communication, and selling skills.
  • Hungry to increase revenue.
  • Ability to travel 25%+ of the time.
