Job summary

Zanda partners with high-growth start-ups for senior leadership placements. The Chief Financial Officer role will sit on the leadership team and drive the finance strategy, operating model and investor communications in a fast‑moving B2B SaaS environment.

You will own fundraising, board reporting and capital allocation discussions while building the finance organization to support aggressive growth and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Essential: CFO or senior finance leader with B2B SaaS experience.
• Strong command of SaaS economics and confident investor/board presentations.
• Experience leading or closely supporting fundraising.
• Background in a high-growth, venture-backed environment preferred.
• Strategic thinker who will roll up their sleeves.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Based in New York.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning and forecasting with SaaS metrics focus.
• Partner with GTM leaders on pricing, sales efficiency and revenue planning.
• Own fundraising, investor relations and board reporting.
• Build and scale finance and accounting teams, systems and processes.
• Oversee revenue recognition (ASC 606), audit readiness and controls.
• Advise CEO on capital allocation, runway and long-term strategy.
• Implement tools/workflows to improve reporting quality and decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with scaling needs.
