Zanda, a fast-growing fintech company, seeks a Chief Financial Officer to elevate the finance function from founder-led to institutional-grade. You will own strategy, planning, capital and controls, and be a true partner to the CEO and board as the company scales and navigates a regulated environment.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive financial forecasting, and oversee investor relations, treasury, and reporting while collaborating with leadership on pricing and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Seasoned finance leader with startup/scale-up experience.
• Background in fintech, payments or financial services.
• Proven track record raising capital and managing investor relations.
• Familiar with regulatory complexity and compliance in money movement.
• Experience in high-growth, venture-backed environments is preferred.
• Hands-on, commercial, and able to build from the ground up.

This is a pivotal hire. As the company’s first Chief Financial Officer, you will take the finance function from founder-led to institutional-grade, owning strategy, planning, capital and controls. You will be a true partner to the CEO and the board, shaping how the business grows, raises capital and operates within a regulated environment.

WHAT EXPERIENCES YOU WILL GAIN

• Building and leading the finance function, hiring and developing a high-performing team as the business scales

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced finance leader (CFO, VP Finance, or a strong #2 ready to step up)
• Background in fintech, payments or financial services
• Track record of raising capital and managing board and investor relationships
• Comfortable navigating regulatory complexity and the operational detail of money movement
• Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed start-up or scale-up strongly preferred
• Hands‑on, commercial and happy to build from the ground up
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
