Premier PV is seeking a Manager of Production Planning and S&OP Lead to own planning for UL1741 electrical cabinets and components, ensuring on-time delivery, optimal inventory, and capacity utilization. You will partner with engineering, procurement, sales, and manufacturing.

The role requires 7+ years of planning experience, strong ERP/MRP skills, and leadership ability to mentor a team. The position is onsite in Dallas, with flexibility for travel to suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in production planning or manufacturing operations, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and experience with S&OP, capacity planning, and Lean methods.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• APICS CPIM/SCM or Lean Belt is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own short-, mid-, and long-term production plans and MPS aligned to demand.
• Drive ERP/MRP parameterization, data integrity and change management.
• Lead S&OP/demand-supply reconciliation and translate plans into a robust supply plan.
• Oversee BOM/route validation and identify material/lead-time gaps.
• Manage material planning and procurement collaboration to maintain safety stock.
• Allocate capacity, manage bottlenecks, and coordinate with operations and CAPEX.
• Own inventory strategy and KPIs to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Lead Lean initiatives and drive productivity gains (OEE, lead time, inventory turns).
• Develop the planning team and oversee performance reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to meet customer requirements and report metrics.
• Ensure ISO 9002, safety, and planning policy compliance.
