Job summary

Regal Wine Co is seeking an S&OP Planning Manager to lead integrated demand, supply and inventory planning, ensuring product availability and optimized stock levels in line with financial and commercial strategies.

You will partner with the Director of Supply Planning, develop forecasts, convert them into executable plans, and work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to align assumptions and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of supply chain, scheduling, or production/operations experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Proven experience in demand, supply, financial, or operations planning within a consumer goods environment
• Experience with ERP and planning software applications
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with expert skills in Excel
• Demonstrated analytical ability and understanding of supply/demand planning concepts
• Innovative and strategic mindset; adept at problem solving and process enhancement
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various disciplines and stakeholders
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of colleagues and managers

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and forward 3-year demand forecasts at state and SKU.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to incorporate business assumptions into forecasts.
• Lead monthly S&OP calls and quarterly financial reforecast discussions; identify forecast gaps, risks, opportunities and trend shifts.
• Manage ORI demand planning processes, including pricing and financial data integration, forecast maintenance, performance scorecards, and statistical forecast tuning.
• Train and support Sales teams on ORI utilization, forecasting analysis, and best practices.
• Analyze pricing and incentive impacts on demand and incorporate these effects into the demand signal.
• Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans aligned with budgeted volumes and cost assumptions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Portfolio Management, and suppliers to place orders, resolve constraints, and maintain continuity of supply.
• Monitor supply risks, capacity limitations, and vendor performance.
• Lead process improvements to enhance supply visibility, planning accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Manage inventory strategies to balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory health, including slow-moving, excess, obsolete and out of stock items; conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution plans.
• Optimize replenishment parameters based on demand and supply variability.
• Partner with Warehousing to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment with system data.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory management processes.
