Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Senior Planning Specialist in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on creating long‑term strategic route plans, analyzing efficiency, and coordinating with regional leadership to optimize territory plans and reporting.

The position requires strong MS Office skills, routing/scheduling software experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining data accuracy. Collaboration with dispatch and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related experience as dispatcher and/or customer service agent.
• Advanced knowledge of Routing and Scheduling software systems.
• Advanced MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Knowledge of branch departments, mission and territory structure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create long‑term strategic route plans for branches in the region.
• Analyze plan efficiency, resource availability and territory planning.
• Coordinate with Planning Specialists and Schedulers for timely tasks.
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting across branches.
• Maintain geographic codes, addresses and customer information.
• Coordinate with branches on plan and territory updates to maximize efficiency.
