The Strategic Risk Services Program Manager will play a critical role in shaping and driving key business strategies across the organization. This leader will oversee high-impact initiatives, deliver actionable insights to Senior Leadership, and support enterprise-wide decision-making. With a strong focus on strategic execution and innovation, the individual in this role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives—guiding complex initiatives from vision to implementation. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, thought leadership, and operational excellence to help advance the organization’s long-term goals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administrative Planning:
  • Develop and execute effective communication plans for the organization, including presentations for town halls, internal memos, etc.
  • Manage operational processes for the Executive Office, including event management, Reward & Recognition programs, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day business priorities, deliverables, and reporting for the Executive Office.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Understand and shape the company’s strategy and mission; develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze business proposals; assist with the analysis, creation, and execution of business plans and strategies.
    • Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g., shift in strategic focus, change management, etc.)
    • Drive the goals of the organization, including managing critical strategic projects and initiatives.
    • Provide strategic thought leadership with an ability to learn quickly, “connect the dots,” and drive results with minimal direction.
  • Project Management:
    • Drive key transformational innovation projects with cross-functional teams.
    • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to achieve shared goals. Develop a deep understanding of the business to identify, analyze, recommend, and implement strategic solutions.
    • Plan and execute the long-term strategic plan in collaboration with leadership.
    • Collaborate across teams by managing people, tasks, and workflows effectively.
  • Data Insights:
    • Gather relevant data from various sources, analyze complex data sets, and provide insights on trends to Senior Leadership.
    • Represent the organization professionally and engagingly with a solid executive presence.
    • Analyze and manipulate data to develop frameworks and solutions for critical business issues.
    • Own headcount tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Analytical mindset with strong financial acumen and organizational skills.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and react to changing needs.
    • Strategic thinking and attention to detail, with a focus on the big picture and tactical execution.
    • Highly organized, proactive, with strong leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills.
    • Strong integrity, confidence, discretion, and executive presence when interacting with senior leaders. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential projects.
    • Ability to deal with issues requiring sensitivity, discretion, and judgment.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills across geographies and leveraging collaboration to drive results.
    • Work well under pressure, be flexible, and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
    • Excellent written communication skills for effective drafting of communications and presentations for internal and external audiences.
    Additional Details:
    • Location: Primary – Itasca, IL; Secondary – Virtual
    • Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid (4 days in-office per week) for primary location; Virtual option available
    • Travel: 10-15%
    Compensation & Benefits:
    • Salary: Competitive base salary of $90-130K plus performance-based incentives and bonus. The range reflects the minimum and maximum targets across US locations.
