Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager for the Strategic Risk Security team within Apple Services Engineering in Seattle, WA. You will lead program delivery, translate threat analyses into actionable plans, and coordinate cross-functional security initiatives impacting customer data and accounts worldwide.

You will work with senior engineers to shape technical direction, manage risk mitigation roadmaps, and communicate progress and metrics up to leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Manager or Technical Program Manager.
• 2+ years of experience managing projects or programs in security.
• Proficient in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams, scopes, and timelines.
• Ability to track large volumes of work items across teams with metrics and ownership.
• BS in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize cross-functional security initiatives and programs requiring security domain, systems, and engineering knowledge.
• Manage dependencies, risks, changes, scope, schedule, and resources across teams.
• Create aligned project plans with clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to distill requirements, trade-offs, and blockers across the SDLC.
• Develop and communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Define and report on program health and success metrics; use data to drive decisions.
• Work with data engineers to define metrics and interpret results from detection and risk models.
