Job summary

Capital One is seeking a strategic Risk Manager to strengthen the Risk Identification Framework and lead cross-functional initiatives across business lines. You will partner with technology, product and data teams to implement updates and design risk metrics that measure framework health.

You will present insights to executives, coordinate training across lines, and support audit and regulatory requests while driving improvements within Capital One's ERM program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Project Management, or Process Management.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business partners.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and enhance the Risk Identification Framework and align with strategic objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize Risk Identification processes.
• Use data insights to identify core problems and craft effective solutions.
• Collaborate with 1st and 2nd Line stakeholders for aligned execution across lines.
• Partner with technology, product, and data teams to implement updates.
• Design and implement risk metrics to measure framework effectiveness.
• Lead training across lines for consistent adoption.
• Provide governance guidance for consistent execution.
• Deliver executive-level risk reporting and ad-hoc deliverables.
