Job summary

Capital One is seeking a strategic Risk Manager to strengthen the Risk Identification Framework within Enterprise Risk Management. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with lines of defense, and partner with technology and data teams to update systems and processes.

The role focuses on identifying core problems through data analysis, delivering real-time risk visibility to executives, and driving continuous improvement across business lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Project Management, or Process Management.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting internal business partners.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and enhance foundational elements of the Risk Identification Framework.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify and standardize Risk Identification processes.
• Collaborate with 1st Line and 2nd Line stakeholders to align strategies and execution.
• Deliver reporting and executive-level presentations for leadership visibility.
• Fulfill audit and regulatory exam requests and other ad-hoc deliverables.
