Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting large-scale construction projects and delivering risk management across data centers, critical infrastructure, aviation, life sciences, and energy sectors.

You will lead risk reviews, develop risk management plans, and collaborate with project controls to integrate risk with cost and schedule across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment.
• Deep knowledge of risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods.
• Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping.
• Familiarity with ARM, Predict, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to tax risk budget.
• Use risk data to inform investment planning.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and assess the remaining risk budget.
• Work with contractors to assess risks and client-held risk implications.
• Produce risk reports in a timely manner to communicate status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) for contingencies.
• Initiate proactive reviews and improvements of risk management services.
• Undertake end-to-end project risk management across multiple projects.
• Create risk management plans and processes per client requirements.
• Lead risk reviews, determine responses, and monitor risk profiles.
• Integrate risk management with cost, schedule, and change control.
• Collaborate with program and project controls teams to remove redundancies.
