Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Risk Strategy Execution Analyst to help implement lending strategies and treatments, coordinating across Risk Infrastructure, Engineering & Product Development, and Legal/Compliance. The role focuses on optimizing collections while adhering to policy and regulation.

The candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives, validate post-implementation outcomes, and identify process gaps to enhance collections efficiency. NY-based role with remote-work options may be available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of collections and operations experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate risks and blockers.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and support loss prevention goals.
• Effective and collaborative communication to translate business needs into detailed product requirements.
• Innovative, creative problem-solving for data-driven challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of new treatments and strategies across lending products.
• Develop detailed business requirements for small to mid-sized projects and communicate them to partners (Risk Infrastructure, EPD).
• Assist with implementation of strategic initiatives with visibility across Legal, Compliance, Finance, EPD and R/I.
• Perform post-implementation validation and suggest solutions for mitigating, monitoring and reporting defects.
• Identify key work streams and facilitate cross-departmental communication within major release timelines.
• Develop internal mechanisms to track and report progress and escalate blockers/risks to avoid impact on collections.
• Offer creative solutions to drive initiatives forward despite roadblocks.
• Work with Operations and EPD to ensure alignment of strategy, policies, state laws and regulatory guidelines for delinquent customer contact.
