American Dream is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee claims operations across the organization and related entities. You will advise management on risk mitigation, insurance coverage, and incident management while ensuring timely, confidential handling of records.

You will lead investigations with Security, coordinate with brokers and outside counsel, and develop data-driven reports to identify loss trends and cost reduction opportunities in a large corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in commerce, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years in a corporate claims environment.
• Professional designations such as CRM/FRM/CIP/FCIP are assets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interact with executives, lawyers and management styles.

Responsabilités

• Oversee third-party claims and incident reporting with Security.
• Investigate incidents, preserve evidence and manage claim files.
• Assess loss, determine settlements and reserve loss funds.
• Coordinate with outside law firms, brokers, adjusters, and insurers.
• Develop reports and use claims system to monitor trends and costs.
• Represent the company at settlements and mediations.
