Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal to lead a National Practice within our fast-growing national firm. You will provide leadership, strategy, and client service excellence across risk, governance, internal audit, IT, and cybersecurity domains.

We value a CPA/CIA or equivalent, 12+ years in risk advisory or related fields, and a proven ability to grow the practice. Travel to client engagements is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program.
• CPA, CIA, or equivalent designation required.
• 12+ years of experience in risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction with focus on exceptional client service and growth.
• Translate vision into actionable business plans with clear objectives and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales plans and pursue expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate firm resources to deliver top-quality products and services to clients.
• Ensure training and development opportunities for team members with timely feedback.
• Oversee profitability through utilization, pricing, and timely fees collection.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and provide strategic advice on risk and controls.
