Get to Know This Role

The Strategic Revenue Manager is a key role to drive profitable growth via thought partnership on revenue growth management, commercial planning, customer planning, sales performance management, and channel execution & activation. This role will lead and partner with the broader sales team, sales strategy and finance to drive initiatives, develop insights and drive deep accountability around execution of pricing plans and strategies.

What You Will Do

  • Independent thought starter responsible for price and trade spend/promotional planning. Owns the evaluation of where and how we spend our pricing investments
  • Creative problem solver who can support deal modeling along with bridging strategy channel plans connection to plans with our distributor network
  • Leads the development of annual FOB price, discount plans, and promotion calendar
  • Operate effectively within the brewery and budgetary guidelines
  • Has the ability to identify key drivers and variances, while being able to communicate and prioritize with the sales team what to implement in the marketplace
  • Understands the impact decisions will have on commercial landscape across the 3 tier industry
  • Analytical thought partner who can resolve data is relevant to create useful and measurable insights
  • Understand different market archetypes (e.g. chain vs. independent, free goods vs. Discounts, case 1 vs. quantity discounts, control vs. open) and impact on route to consumer in order to provide strategic recommendations internally and externally
  • Review and approve gap close programs and communicate impact
  • Ensure Revenue Management and plan price models are accurately updated
  • Manages development, maintenance and communication of price changes and promotional calendars to internal personnel and distributors
  • Builds insightful and useful monthly analysis of pricing results
  • Reviews trends and competitive activity throughout the year to identify additional suggested pricing opportunities or risks
  • Drives deal level analytics, suggested margin analysis, conduct project based analytics and scenario planning to make informed suggested pricing recommendations
  • Utilize sales tools (KARMA, VIP, Nielsen, IRI, Power BI, etc.) to build strategy and execution plans

Please Apply if You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or any combination of experience and or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved required
  • 5 years progressive analytical commercial roles in sales and/or finance roles; commercial roles/competence preferred required
  • 5 years wholesaler, supplier management, or chain mgmt experience in beverage alcohol and/or 3 tier system preferred
  • Able to build positive relationships; excellent influencing skills
  • Working understanding of P&L levers & value chain modeling
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Consumer Data systems (Nielsen, IRI)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across functions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and PowerBI
