You will oversee analysis, reporting, and escalation for revenue cycle issues, working closely with clinicians and department chairs. The role focuses on proactive denial prevention, workflow optimization, and data‑driven decision making, leveraging Epic PB and related IT systems to improve financial outcomes and patient

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years experience in healthcare professional billing and/or follow‑up functions.
• Experience with Epic Professional Billing (PB) system configuration, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Strong data analytics, workflow redesign and change management within complex healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of multispecialty practice billing and collection operations in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for professional services in Revenue Cycle Operations.
• Generate RCO performance and benchmark summaries for leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve fiscal performance and address systemic issues.
• Develop reports and analytics to track trends and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with physicians and departmental staff on reimbursement issues.
• Establish goals and monitor workflow to optimize revenue cycle processes.
• Guide teams to prevent denials and improve front-end revenue cycle processes.
• Advise on Epic functionality and related automation to streamline operations.
