Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a dynamic Retirement Plan Sales Consultant in hybrid mode to drive new business for group retirement plan solutions including 401(k), 403(b), DB plans, and non-qualified plans. You will engage plan sponsors and fiduciaries, present tailored solutions, and close deals while maintaining fiduciary compliance and a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 65 license required (or Series 7 and 66)
• 5+ years of retirement plan sales, financial services, or related field
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, fiduciary standards, and regulatory compliance in retirement industry
• Existing network of business/institutional contacts preferred
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets by acquiring new retirement plan clients
• Identify and engage prospective clients via networking, referrals, and outreach to owners, HR, CFOs, and sponsors
• Consult with organizations to assess retirement plan needs and present tailored solutions
• Negotiate and close new business opportunities adhering to fiduciary standards
• Maintain pipeline and track sales metrics using CRM systems
• Educate clients on 401(k), 403(b), DB plans, and other retirement solutions
• Collaborate with investment advisors, compliance, and plan administrators to deliver a seamless client experience
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products
• Participate in industry events and CBIZ marketing initiatives to enlarge brand visibility
• Maintain required industry licensing (FINRA Series 65) and compliance
