Job summary

The Olson Group in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks a Retirement Plan Consultant & Advisor to serve as the primary relationship manager for retirement plan clients, collaborating with advisors, recordkeepers, and internal teams. This full-time, remote-capable role supports 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and 414(h) plans and focuses on fiduciary governance and participant outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retirement plan consulting, relevant licenses, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retirement plan consulting or related experience.
• Active Nebraska Life and Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
• FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63/65/66 licenses.
• Strong knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b) plans.
• Experience managing client relationships as primary contact.
• Fiduciary governance and plan operations understanding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for retirement plan clients.
• Lead client meetings focused on plan performance and fiduciary best practices.
• Coordinate day-to-day service for multiple retirement plans.
• Support plan enhancements, mergers, and vendor transitions.
• Provide guidance on retirement plan operations and regulations.
• Deliver participant education and enrollment presentations.
• Collaborate with recordkeepers, custodians, and other vendors.
