Job summary

Exploding Kittens is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead and expand our presence across mid-tier retailers and distribution channels in North America. You will manage retailers across grocery, arts & craft, value clubs, specialty, and hobby distributors while coordinating with product development to ensure strong sell-in and brand consistency.

The role emphasizes strategic account growth, sales planning, and cross-functional leadership, including collaboration with marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in a sales/account management role, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Experience with external sales reps and distributors.
• Proven forecasting, sales analysis, and reporting capabilities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead account management with mid-tier retailers and distributors to grow presence across channels.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for assigned accounts and develop growth strategies.
• Coordinate inventory and order fulfillment with Sales Coordinators, Ops, and Logistics.
• Collaborate with Product teams on retailer-driven product-market fit and sell-in potential.
• Oversee trade show calendar and represent Exploding Kittens at events.
