Job summary

Exploding Kittens is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead strategic growth across mid-tier retailers and distribution channels in North America. This role focuses on expanding partnerships in specialty retail, department stores, off-price and closeout, farm and fleet, convenience, lifestyle, gift, and hobby markets.

You will drive revenue, lead sales planning, support product development, and ensure brand consistency.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a sales/account management role, preferably in consumer goods, toys, or retail.
• Ability to do multiple levels of market research.
• Product development experience (desired).
• Sales analysis and reporting proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and external partner collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with retailers and distributors across Mid-Tier/Grocery/Arts & Craft/Value/Club channels and external reps.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for assigned accounts and hit annual sales goals.
• Oversee inventory & operations with sales, logistics, and demand planning to optimize fulfillment.
• Collaborate with Game Development and Product teams on product-market fit and sell-in potential.
• Partner with Marketing to develop channel programs and support campaigns for sell-through.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve account performance and retailer presence.
• Manage trade show calendar, logistics, and representation at events as needed.
• Lead Amazon US & Canada launches with cross-functional teams and vendor readiness.
