Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is hiring a Retail Allocation Analyst in Dublin, CA. This 6–12 month temporary role focuses on optimizing inventory selection through analytics and coordinating assortment strategies using allocation systems.

You will collaborate with Merchant and Planning teams to drive opportunities and improve inventory performance. Prior experience with merchandising software is a plus, with a hybrid work model and on-site Parking.

Qualifications

Intermediate Excel skills including conditional formatting and VLOOKUP.
Retail Math formulas knowledge.
Experience with allocation software is a plus (JDA or SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Merchant partners on business opportunities.
Perform high-level analytics to support Seasonal Strategies, New Store Openings, and Ad Hoc requests.
Define allocation approaches to optimize inventory mix and improve customer experience.
Conduct field visits to assess allocation results and opportunities.
Collaborate with Planning to resolve issues affecting plan achievement.
Identify issues impacting inventory plan and provide improvement recommendations.
Ensure New Stores achieve opening inventory targets.
Drive allocation automation for timely receipt processing.
Keep allocation tools current and accurate.
Validate automated allocation approaches.
Support allocation execution through accurate system usage.
