Job summary

At Home seeks an Allocation Analyst to drive inventory optimization and allocation decisions across departments and clusters. You will partner with buyers and planners to align assortments with sales and margin targets, and you will manage in-season adjustments to maximize store performance.

You will analyze post-season results and support system implementations while leveraging data to inform future allocations and receipts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in Excel and quick to learn new systems and technical applications.
• Working knowledge of retail KPIs such as Sales, Inventory, Receipts, Sell-Through, Store Productivity/Index, and Gross Margin preferred.
• Experience with retail planning or allocation systems (e.g., JDA, Oracle Retail Planning Optimization) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buyers and planners to develop an assortment planning and allocation strategy aligned to financial and product goals.
• Manage pre-receiving review of styles to align allocations with the plan.
• Provide in-season analysis to adjust allocations based on store and cluster performance.
• Analyze post-season sales and profitability by store to inform future buys.
• Review basket analysis and rate of sale to determine store minimum allocations.
• Support implementation of new systems and processes.
• Build store attributes to understand market needs for allocations.
• Track inventory flow from DC to stores and optimize receipts.
