Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Managing Director to lead a TRS team in business restructuring and bankruptcy engagements, including litigation, reporting to an Advisory Principal. The role emphasizes marketing and networking to win new business and lead proposals.

The position requires extensive engagement leadership, supervisory responsibilities, and the ability to build industry relationships. Travel to clients is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field is required
• MBA or other advanced degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead company-side restructuring and turnaround engagements and interim management as applicable
• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities; build out the pitch team for opportunities
• Prepare complete pitch books, conduct conflict checks, and ensure fee proposals and engagements follow required guidelines
• Present work product to counsel or client; respond to questions and defend analyses
• Supervise TRS Senior Managers, Managers, Senior Associates and Associates; provide performance reviews
• Develop financial models; analyze cash flows and provide actionable recommendations
• Travel to client sites as needed to support engagements
