Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Resource Planner to drive workforce planning from the front lines, supporting pursuits and projects with talent deployment. You will manage demand, build networks, and ensure data quality to enable informed decisions across sectors and leaders.

You will partner with team managers, pursuit leaders, and TA to optimize billability, plan ahead, and mobilize talent across projects. This role emphasizes analytics, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce/resource planning and deployment coordination in professional services.
• Strong analytics: forecast accuracy, demand signals, and billability influence deployment.
• Collaborative with managers, pursuit leaders and TA partners with accountability.
• Knowledge of regional talent trends and basic employment law relevant to planning.
• Data-driven, able to identify data gaps and improve workforce information accuracy.
• Change management skills to adopt new planning tools and processes.
• Understand processes that drive WFP data, tagging and demand matching.
• Client-focused, solution-driven with ability to translate needs into actions.
• Excellent communication, able to give timely feedback and early warnings.

Responsibilities

• Engage team managers to maximize billability and forecast reliability.
• Manage demand within remit and support wider network.
• Own 12-week look ahead quality for managers.
• Identify work and demand to plan in advance for Design & Engineering.
• Provide dashboards insights to stakeholders for informed decisions.
• Identify recruitment needs and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maximize soft booking and pre-planning.
• Support mobilization/de-mobilization of talent across projects.
• Serve as main contact for talent pursuing new opportunities and maintain records.
• Build strong relationships with pursuit leaders and project managers.
• Establish a strong network with team managers and engage appropriately.
• Identify data gaps and resolve data issues in planning.
• Assist onboarding and update WFP Tags for new joiners.
• Engage sector/industry leads to understand client talent needs.
• Elevate supply/demand risks and provide early warnings to directors.
• Escalate changes and leverage network for solutions.
• Identify client attributes and map into WFP Tags to maximize value.
• Support prioritization of top-tier clients and major opportunities.
• Act as contact for Tier 3-4 client teams.
