Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America seeks a Manager for Resin & Indirect Materials (Greases/Solder Paste/Felts, etc.). The role leads resin and indirect-material procurement across North America, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to optimize sourcing, cost, and supply continuity.

Will drive supplier selection, cost-reduction initiatives, and strategic commodity plans. Ideal candidate has extensive experience in resin/chemical materials, strong negotiation and analytics

Qualifications

• 7+ years in purchasing, commodity management, supply-chain, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with resin, polymers, chemicals, lubricants, greases, or related materials.
• Automotive manufacturing experience with understanding of processes, materials, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America purchasing strategy for resin and indirect materials.
• Serve as commodity leader with understanding of polymer properties and markets.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term commodity strategies for sourcing, localization, and cost reduction.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct RFQs, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across AISIN plants to align purchasing directions.
• Oversee risk management, changes, and supply continuity across materials.
